About The Credibility of this Open Member Only Forum
The computer saavy Member who helped get the Forum started, at the request of other Members--- who felt like they never got questions answered via our Club website, and felt that they were intentionally isolated,--- is an avid supporter of Haig Point and will shortly send a post explaining how this Forum was set up. No security breeches or Member information of any kind has been compromised in any way . Only Members have access. Such talk or accusations of security breeches would appear to be a defensive or an intimidation attempt to maintain control of all communications.
I await and welcome a posting from the loyal Member who is helping us express our First Amendment Rights.

All good questions, and I have asked the questions with no response from the Board. There appears to be no intention,or explanation, on how to establish a capital reserve for emergencies such as emergency storms or hurricanes. This is fool-hearty in my opinion. At the Annual Meeting there was no mention of any discussions re: federal or state officials to better protect the coastline against tidal surges. Also, there was no proforma provided for any of the things the members are being asked to vote on. Yes, I agree that members should see a full P & L for the F & B operation but to my knowledge none has been provided. Some Gross margin information is available but it needs not only to be the gross margin but also should include allocated costs and applicable G & A expenses to get the true picture. As for the quality of the food and service, I have not eaten at the Calibogue so I have no opinion. I have heard comments, however, form others in the same vein as your observation. I will continue to ask for such information. RER
