Posting Policy
Recently, a few site members have asked that certain other members be removed from the site for inappropriate comments. While occassional communications from members may seem distasteful, those members will be allowed to remain on the siteĀ unless their posts cross over into specific prohibited behavior [see below]. Every Haig Point member is welcome regardless of their viewpoints and the spirit of open dialogue is one of the core tenets of this site. Haig Point is, in a sense, a loose-knit family and families sometimes disagree. This is ok.
Please take a moment to review the posting policy. Most of this is common sense. Following the policy are some site tools which allow you to limit communications from other members if you so desire.
1. Respectful Behavior
Do not engage in personal attacks, harassment, or any form of discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality. Refrain from offensive, obscene, bullying or abusive behavior.
2. No Hate Speech or Intolerance
Do not promote hate speech, racism, sexism, or any form of bigotry. Do not post content that promotes violence, self-harm, or harm to others.
3. Privacy and Confidentiality
Respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal information, such as addresses or phone numbers without explicit permission. Do not impersonate other users or individuals.
