General Comments: Members own HP and their asking questions is not the enemy and not disrespectful: nor subordinate. Members who all of a sudden are faced with new proposals need

to understand to their satisfaction questions about the who and why before

spending extra money or about unclear proposals.

Single Questions

1. Why is 2024 a mandatory date to re-do the Calibogue golf Course?

2. Can a re-do be done in stages so that Members and paying guests can still play 9 holes at a time?

3. Exactly What will the Club get for the estimated $7.4 million? - Can Less be spent?

4. We have an excellent golf maintenance Department. Why can they not patch things along for another

year so we can become financially stronger as a Club?

5. Which holes are currently in bad shape and why?

6. Who what and why is driving this 2024 proposal or deadline?

General Questions:

7. Would it not be simpler to vote to approve Member Dues adjustments immediately and defer major

Capital spending until Members can learn about potential needed commitments to a new Neighbor after

Any CDA's expire or until we can speak after a definite closing of Melrose?

8. Separate inviolable accounts for marine reserves and operations were mentioned. Does this mean that

marine assessment funded reserves will be used for any unbudgeted unexpected Marine / transportation needs? ( Are there adequate maintenance provisions in the proposed budget?)

9. When will the prudent time come for a BOD estimate of pending assessments and their targeted uses?
