“I want to post a Question on the Member Forum, but feel Intimidated”….. I am not getting Answers on the Club website when I Ask

“I do not want to be labeled a trouble maker by Admin or the Board” …..“I do not want to be ostracized by my social circle or golf group for questioning for asking for more details or for agreeing with a post or for asking our Admin and BOD to revisit a proposed budget.” SAY WHAT??? WHAT????? ………Why am I hearing this?.............

This Forum is a place for Members to agree to disagree If need be and to have a healthy discussion and make our Community stronger. Fun issues or Club issues.

If Members feel intimidation, or feel like they will be labeled “troublemakers and non-team players” by our salaried Admin or by our volunteer representatives- our elected BOD- when they ask about justifying a proposed budget to spend OUR (The OWNER’S) Money on a particular timetable, SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE: WHAT HAS OUR CLUB BECOME???? A Dictator ship or an Oligarchy?? If, as a Community, we cannot ask polite and reasonable questions asking Administration and the BOD to clarify and justify the timing of Proposed very large Capital Expenses and do not get explanations as promised at open Town Meetings or via an open club website, we must interpret this as an obvious attempt to control questions or dissent

Our salaried ADMINISTRATOR and salaried MARKETING AND THE BOD, need to remember that they are here to serve Members, not “Rule” them. Polite questions or agreements do not represent insubordination or revolt, but if Admin and the BOD do not listen to, ignore. or answer questions fully and transparently they risk being out of step with the Membership for whom they serve a Fiduciary Role.

So What will Admin do if you post something or agree with a comment on the Forum??? Delay your Garbage pickup??? This Community is a Democracy. DO NOT FEEL INTIMIDATED BY ILL ADVISED ADMINISTRATIVE EMAILS. Lets hear your concerns and comments on the Forum merc.new@gmail.com

We ALL have a voice ... we live here. EVERYONE should feel free to speak their mind - with respect of course. Norman Rockwell had it right.
