I own cottage home and this proposal is not beneficial to members who pay same fees but have less value to club. Only way I will improve value of my home is to do extensive renovation. I am sure the people the proposed amenities are intended to attract to Haig will not be interested in my property or other cottages and townhomes. When we are priced out of living here, what will club do with these homes? Buy them and turn into rentals? My home was initially turned down years ago for rental program because not attractive to renters, now in program only after $30,000 in improvements. I also have longterm rental club employee living next door which is reducing my property value.
