Lightbulb Sailings cancelled due to weather

Weather forecasts for strong winds have forced ferry operator HD Ferries to cancel all of Thursday's sailings between the Channel islands.

The Met Office is predicting strong winds of up to force seven.

HD Ferries' vessel is currently running on three engines after one was damaged by debris at sea. A replacement cog is currently being sought.

Condor ferries is expected to make a decision later as to whether its fast ferry service will be in operation.
