Ferries cancelled after collision HD Ferries has cancelled all Channel Island sailings until Tuesday following a collision with a Condor ferry.
The accident happened on Saturday night when HD1 was coming into dock at St Helier to drop off p***engers.
It was attempting to turn around and hit the hull of the docked Condor ferry which was loading p***engers and cars.
HD1 was left with several holes above the water line and the Condor ferry has slight scratches to its hull. An investigation is under way.
After the collision HD1 was taken to St Aubin's Bay where the damage was inspected.
It then returned to harbour in St Helier to let off p***engers and cars.
Loading was suspended on the Condor ferry while the damage was investigated. It then set sail for Guernsey and Weymouth at 2330 BST.
No one is believed to be injured.
HD Ferries declined to comment on the collision.
Condor said it was taking the incident "extremely seriously".
It is the second ferry collision since HD Ferries started its Channel Island service to France in March.
